I’m glad you’re visiting this part of our site!
Perhaps it was mere curiosity that brought you here, or a truly genuine desire to know the God who created and loves you.
Please consider the words that have been written. I am merely a messenger. This is the wonderful message of the God you are seeking to know more deeply.
I hope that in these next moments you will see these truths that can change your life for eternity.
01. Realize that you are a sinner
No matter how good a life we try to live, we still fall far short of being a good person. This is because we all sin.
We all fall short of God’s desire to be holy. The Bible says, «As it is written, ‘There is none righteous, no, not one'» (Romans 3:10). This is because we cannot be who we are meant to be without Jesus Christ.
02. Jesus died on the cross for you
The Bible tells us, “God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8).
This is the good news: God loves us so much that He sent His only Son to die in our place when we least deserved it.
03. Repent of your sin
The Bible tells us, “Repent therefore, and be converted…” (Acts 3:19).
The word repent means to change our direction in life. Instead of running away from God, we can run toward Him.
04. Receive Jesus Christ into your life
Being a Christian isn’t simply believing in a certain creed or going to church on Sunday. It’s having Christ himself within your life and heart. Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door (of your life) and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” (Revelation 3:20).
If you want to have a relationship with Christ, simply recite this prayer out loud and believe it with all your heart.
Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins. Now, I turn my back on my sins and open the door of my heart and life to You. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me. Amen.
If you prayed this prayer and believe it with all your heart, Jesus Christ has now taken up residence in your heart! Your decision to follow Jesus Christ means that God has forgiven you and you will spend eternity in heaven. The Bible tells us, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)
To put your faith into action, be sure to spend time with God by reading the Bible, praying, going to church, and telling others about Christ.
