01. Justification
The church, as an organization that cares for, manages, distributes, and safeguards funds, requires the services of an administrative team composed of trustworthy men faithful to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Now it is required of administrators that a man be found faithful. 1 Corinthians 4:2
02. Objetivos
- Develop an administration that safeguards the interests of the congregation.
- Help channel the pastoral vision through available resources.
- Provide adequate representation in all groups that contribute financially.
- Safeguard the congregation’s assets, both personal and real.
03. Purposes
- Ensure that all disbursements have been justified and approved by the pastor.
- Support any property purchase and sale transactions that the pastor deems appropriate.
- Work with the pastor in preparing the annual budget for the congregation.
- Pay the pastor’s salary on time and deduct taxes.
- Provide health insurance for the pastor and family and create a retirement program.
- Ensure that the pastor receives a salary increase and is financially sound.
- Submit a quarterly report of income and expenses to the pastor.
- Keep the treasury book open for inspection.
- Represent the church in business dealings and transactions.
- Keep accounts of financial resources (tithes and offerings, contributions from groups and ministries).
