The Talent Board is a dedicated group within the church charged with preparing and serving food for various events. Inspired by the parable of the talents, they strive to glorify God and nourish the congregation through delicious meals.

This document outlines their overall objectives, purpose, responsibilities, and tasks, both spiritual and practical, to ensure their service aligns with the church’s goals and promotes fellowship within the community.

01. Kitchen

Justification

The talent board is responsible for planning all kinds of talents (food) that are sold and served in the church, thus fulfilling what His word says in Matthew 25:14-30 (Parable of the Talents).

General Objectives

  1. Ensure that the talent management team takes an active role in developing the work plan.
  2. Work hard to achieve the goals established in the plan.

Purpose

May the talent directive be a means to assist our ministry or church, through hard work in preparing food, so that God may be glorified and our congregation may expand both spiritually and materially.

Responsibilities

  1. In their new role, their leaders must present a monthly report at the Officers’
  2. Meeting on everything accomplished during the month, including:
  3. Leader meeting dates.
  4. Meeting dates with the members of the congregation who support the directive.
  5. Research various menus and consider the most appetizing and marketable ones, promoting and presenting them for consideration.
  6. Motivate their staff in the new work to be done, so as to avoid falling into a work routine that ultimately causes harm.
  7. Support all church activities with initiatives within their privilege.

02. Activities To Be Carried Out

Of a spiritual order

  1. Prayer activities, fasting, and vigils within the board and siblings. They provide support.
  2. Study and meditation on the Word of God.
  3. Studies and topics relevant to their needs within the talent group.
  4. Fraternity services within the group. (This will not be frequent.)
  5. Spiritual retreats.
  6. Agape or fraternal activities.

Of Service

  1. Participation in the evangelism section.
  2. Visitation.
  3. Participation in growth groups.

Of a physical order

  1. Decorating (church decorations, flowers, etc.)
  2. Talent work, etc. General painting of the building and other areas.
  3. Wall repairs, etc.
  4. Furniture repairs (tables, pews, chairs, etc.) in the church.
  5. Parking lot cleaning.
  6. Refreshments for special activities.

Of social order

  1. Recreational times
  2. Evenings; or social evenings for charity, depending on needs and possibilities.
