Inspired by Luke 14:23’s call to welcome souls, our Church presents the Visitation Ministry. Recognizing the challenge of retaining members, this program strives to nurture individual needs, both spiritual and emotional.
Like Jesus visiting his friends, our goal is to connect, strengthen, and encourage each member through dedicated visits. Join us as we explore the goals, purposes, and structure of this impactful ministry, fostering not only quantitative growth but also deeper spiritual connections within our church community.
01. Justification
“The Lord said to the servant, ‘Go out into the highways and hedges and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.’” (Luke 14:23)
- Churches always encounter the problem that church growth advocates call the “narrow gate” and the “wide gate.” This means that adding souls to the church is difficult and laborious, so they can enter through the “narrow gate.”
- However, the exodus is easy and unnoticed. They slip through the “wide gate” and disappear forever, and no one knows why they are no longer in the congregation. The Visitation Section is focused on better addressing the individual needs of each member and visitor of the church, whether spiritual or emotional, imitating with them the principle of the Lord Jesus in His visit with His friends: Mary, Martha, and Lazarus. We believe that in visitation, people are taught, strengthened, and encouraged. It also helps maintain and retain members in the congregation.
- The Visitation Section not only allows for quantitative growth by reaching many, but also for quantitative growth, as visitation allows new members to strengthen their faith and grow spiritually.
