Based on the discipline manifested, we can count on success and God’s support wherever He wants to use us. (1 Timothy 3:13)

02. Disciplinary Rules

Discipline

  • The functions of each element in the Ministry (John 14:6) require constant obedience to the Lord, as well as to those delegated by the pastor. Titus 3:11; 1 Thess. 5:12-13
  • When we talk about discipline, we speak of rules and regulations and adherence to them, taking into account that we are part of the body of Christ and have a specific role in the Lord’s work, to minister to the Lord and to be examples for the congregation.

Faults that warrant discipline

  • Temporary or permanent suspension from ministry or assigned responsibility.
  • Disqualification from serving in roles such as leading, witnessing, or participating in any other spiritual or ministerial capacity.
  • Withdrawal from membership in the event of a repeat offense.

“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe” (Heb. 12:28)
