Driven by Isaiah’s call to expand, the Extending the Vision Board (DELVI) aims to foster both spiritual and membership growth within the church. Through active participation in missionary work, church maintenance, and community outreach initiatives, DELVI strives to support the church’s spiritual evolution and expand its reach.

This document outlines the board’s goals, purpose, methods of integration, responsibilities, and specific tasks, fostering a collaborative approach to achieving a shared vision of church growth and community impact.

01. Statement of Purpose

Justification

Expand the place where we are with a future vision of spiritual growth and membership. His Word says: “Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of your dwellings; do not be lacking; lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes.” (Isaiah 54:2)

General Objectives

  1. Support all activities in the mission field, especially in the area of ​​Compassion, with professional assistance projects, such as the one carried out in 1996 by optician Dr. Aichael Colvard, and others with basic needs such as clothing, toys, Bibles, cassettes, and personal items for those incarcerated in the Tijuana prison.
  2. Ensure that the «Extending the Vision» (DELVI) Board of Directors actively participate in the development of the Work Plan.
  3. Work hard to achieve the goals established in the Plan.
  4. Support the Church’s spiritual growth and membership growth.

Purpose

  1. In coordination with the Societies and Boards, plan and carry out maintenance activities for the proper functioning of the church.
  2. Create special areas to assist the community, such as:
    • A Training Center to help people with vision prepare for a better future.
    • A Rehabilitation Center to help those with alcoholism and drug addiction.
    • A Childcare Center to help parents in the community.
    • As a promoter of church planting or support visionary missionaries called to work in the mission field.

Integration

  1. Directors responsible for implementing the programs detailed in this vision for the expansion of God’s Kingdom.
  2. Name: Spirit-filled brothers and sisters who have demonstrated growth in their spiritual lives, approved by the pastor, and supported by the congregation.

03. Responsibilities

  1. Their leaders must be more responsible in their church attendance, and each month at the Officers’ Meeting, they must present a report on everything accomplished, such as:

  5. Support all church activities with initiatives within their privilege
