The Nursery Ministry provides a loving and nurturing space for infants and toddlers. Our team, trained in the light of Scripture, aims to instill core Christian values while offering parents peace of mind during services.
Through thoughtful prayer, teaching, and age-appropriate activities, we foster development and build trust in families. Join us as we delve into the goals, responsibilities, and structure of this vital ministry, where little hearts blossom in God’s love.
01. Nursery
Justification
The Nursery Board is a very special area within the Ministry and therefore deserves special attention. The Word of God says in Mark 9:37, «Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me; and whoever receives me receives not me but him who sent me.»
General Objectives
The objective of this area is to teach children in their first three years of age to learn the fundamental principles of God’s Word according to Luke 2:40: «And the child grew and became strong in spirit and was filled with wisdom, and the favor of God was upon him.» Therefore, each of the Sisters God has called for this special work must be educated and trained to teach. For example:
- Songs.
- Children’s music.
- Children’s movies that teach
Purpose
- The purposes of the Nursery Board are:
- That parents may have the freedom to glorify God in Spirit and truth in the celebration of services.
- That they may have confidence that their children are being well taught by sisters empowered with God’s love and filled with the Holy Spirit. They are trustworthy because they are like women according to Proverbs chapter 31:1-31.
Responsibilities
- Their leaders must be more responsible in their church attendance, and each month at the Officers’ Meeting, they must present a report on everything accomplished, including:
- Dates of leaders’ meetings.
- Dates of meetings with the Sisters who support that directive.
- Visitation and Evangelism Report.
- Work plans.
- Future projects for their area and the Temple.
